Use this hack to load applications faster by enabling the Windows “Prefetching Tool”
Navigate to the following key(s):
go to start\go to run\type regedit and hit enter\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters
Here you will find a DWORD value called EnablePrefectcher. The default value for this is 3 (decimal value), but you can increase the values up to 9 to see if you get any improvements.
